Monsters run when they hear this creature crushing trees and cowlands on it's
annual voyage to roost on the shores of Gondwanaland. This solo excursion
from Big Nurse guitarist and Double Trouble team member is rife with stoney
lapses into zoned out sections of sawblade personality and axe cuts above
the waist. Bustin' broad swipes of slime covered arms, Bonus Beast attacks
his own tape recorder, leaving a film of mustard scented mucus eating through
your stereo. Side two begins more subdued than the first side, but the title
track quickly abolishes any nostalgia deterioration you might have forgot
to think about. This tape is black on one side and white on the other. Wrapped
first in a blanket of red trash kite paper and then nestled in a xerographic
print, "RASTAFARIAN BACK SCRATCHER" finds bedfellows in a four-way
photograph and a single cotton ball. All of these objects are placed inside
a pouch constructed from roofing tile and burlap. Heavy shit, man.
