This could pretty much be called pre-Yana, because of the newly discovered
friend known as the everyday microkorg. Freshly borrowed from Devin Dart
for the first of many times, the synth became incorporated into and dominated
much of Jay's recording for a period, eventually leading to the concept
of Yana. Forms of almost a type of musical nature are layed out in a straightforward
manner along with the random blips and bloops and cuts present in other
snma releases, and with the help of a little delay they lend to a series
of textures and meditations on new discoveries. Not the greatest snma release,
but certainly a glimpse into the evolution of an idea. The 3 inch is in
sliced origami paper within a clear plastic window.
