From the strange yet engaging violin siren to the dirt blurts of a saxophone, Mike Khoury and Piotr Michalowski’s "For Charlotte Moorman" is a stunning arrangement to say the least. Based upon counter and passing notes, the piece brings a raw edge to almost classical music that has never been seen before. The piece is interesting enough on its own, with the shimmering strings to the abrupt bluntness of the horns, but add in the stunning visuals that are a staple in the atlatl collection, and you have yourself a winner. The packaging contrasts this with its earthy embossed outer envelope, sealing in the pastelled floppy. Overall, this is a great piece of visual and audio art, expertly crafted to be not only enjoyable, but also to be thought inspiring.
